A constitutive promoter that has the tet-kil gene but not the cI857 repressor
The tet-kil is information placed between the -10 and -35 ends in a lacO promoter. Tet-Kil is lethal in E. coli so when induced it will kill the host cell which occurs at 42 degrees Celcius. Temperature dictates the efficiency of the kil gene. The promoter is regulatory.
